that Arkansas's children travel on school buses on our highways,
streets and county roads178 days a school year;
They are traveling, according to a TRIP report, on the
5th most dangerous highway network.
QUESTION:
Is there anything we as citizens can do about this horrific ranking?
ANSWER:
YES, WE CAN.
(1) support the recommendation of the Blue Ribbon
Committee on Highway Finance;
(2) call your representatives and senators and ask
them to increase funding for AHTD;
(3) monitor the AHTD in applying the new resources
for all Arkansans.
